Home Care LINK’s (HCL) telehealth software uses smartphones and tablets to record the actions and observations of non-medical, in-home caregivers.
These caregivers could be family members, volunteers or paid attendants. Obviously they are far less expensive, and they see the care recipients much more frequently than their medical providers. Initial research shows that structured caregiver observations offer considerable value. Plus, there are relatively few false positives. The Home Care LINK platform:
Communicates directly with the family’s Care Manager.
Digitally records all the caregiver’s actions and observations.
Sends alerts when critical conditions occur.
Responds to structured checklists created by the medical providers.
