COVID-19 and Seniors

Living at home is the best alternative. Not only is it less expensive, the care is more attentive. Living at home greatly reduces stress, an underlying cause for declining health. Now with the threat of COVID-19, it is safer.

However, at some point it may be necessary to get help from non-medical caregivers – family members, volunteers, or paid. Now, with the continuing threat of the Novel Coronavirus, appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) is also necessary. Just as importantly someone needs to monitor and react to caregiver observations.

Home Care LINK offers an easy, structured process to record and report those observations. During each visit the caregiver uses a smartphone and responds to the COVID-19 checklist. This checklist is tailored to seniors. It’s simple, easy and care managers learn the status of their senior in a much timelier manner.

When you can’t be there – Home Care LINK can!
